Lalpir Limited announced that its Board of Directors has approved participation in a consortium to bid for the privatization of FESCO. The company has authorized Pakgen Power Limited as the lead consortium member, though no binding obligations have been assumed yet as the process remains subject to pre-qualification and regulatory approvals.

Lalpir Limited disclosed that its associated companies and related parties have acquired a 51.04% stake in Rafhan Maize Products Company Limited (RMPL) from Ingredion Incorporated, alongside an additional acquisition of 1,900,441 shares from various Monnoo family shareholders. Following these transactions and a public offer, the acquirers now hold a collective 73.97% stake in RMPL.
