Kot Addu Power Company Limited informed the PSX that its associated company, Attock Cement Pakistan Limited, has authorized management to explore a potential merger with Fauji Cement Company Limited. Additionally, Attock Cement recommended a final cash dividend of Rs. Nil per share (with interim already paid at 5%), financial results for the year ended June 30, 2026, and a shift of its registered office.

Kot Addu Power Company Limited (KAPCO) shareholders have approved a resolution to secure financing facilities of up to USD 47.5 million. These funds are designated for the acquisition of shares in Attock Cement Pakistan Limited.

Kot Addu Power Company Limited has appointed Mr. Waqar Ahmed Khan as the new Chief Executive for a three-year term, effective from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029.
